Flavor Palm Beach
Celebrating a decade, Flavor Palm Beach returns this September, offering deals and events with local restaurants. Participants include Burger & Beer Joint, Cafe Boulud, The Cooper, III Forks Steakhouse and others, and will offer a selection of specially priced three-course meals for lunch and dinner. Shakespeare by the Sea
Brush up on your iambic pentameter, then head to Shakespeare by the Sea. For two weekends beginning July 6, Shakespeare’s early comedy, “Love’s Labour’s Lost” will be performed live at Carlin Park. Audience members are encouraged to bring a blanket or beach chairs, and can enjoy food truck concessions. (free; pbshakespeare.org)
Earth Works
Learn about our current ecological crisis at the Norton Museum of Art with its new exhibit, “Earth Works: Mapping the Anthropocene.” Opening Sept. 5, the exhibit will explore how humans are directly and indirectly impacting the planet. After flying seven times with NASA for a survey mission of Greenland to study how melting glaciers affect sea level rise, transdisciplinary artist Justin Guariglia illustrates through photography and metaphor the complexity of human impact on the planet. Hang 20
Bring your fuzzy friends and a surfboard to the third annual Hang 20 Surf Dog Classic on Aug. 26 at Carlin Park in support of Furry Friends, a no-kill animal shelter. Spend the day on the beach enjoying food and beverages. The best part? Sights of surfing dogs. (free; furryfriendsadoption.org)
Amazing Butterflies

In Concert

Summer Beer Fest
