Lace up your running shoes for the Twelfth Annual Live Like Jake 5K Run/Walk in downtown Abacoa on April 25.
The Live Like Jake Annual 5K Run/Walk invites everyone to enjoy a run or walk, interactive kids’ zone with music and games, exhibitor booths, and awards for race categories. Funds raised from the race day support scholarships for Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) self-rescue swim lessons and grants for children with critical care needs not covered by insurance.
The race starts at 7:30 a.m. Registration begins at 6:15 a.m. The awards ceremony includes recognition for the largest school, gym, and overall team, as well as traditional finishing time categories.
Registration s $40 and includes a high-performance race shirt or hat, swag bag, and custom finisher medal. Discounts are available for first responders, military, swim instructors and runners younger than 18. Registration is available at runsignup.com/Race/FL/Jupiter/LiveLikeJake5k.
